Old Fort Townsend
Boasting 3,960 feet of shoreline along Port Townsend Bay, this 367-acre marine camping park features has a rich military history dating from the pioneer days. Approx. 2 mi. south of Port Townsend.

Rothschild House State Park
Step back into the 19th century at Rothschild House State Park. The house, only occupied by the Rothschild family, is an accurate reflection of life in the late 1800s. Open: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily (May 1-Sep. 30); 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in Nov.; closed from Dec. 1-Apr. 30. 16 mi.

Port Townsend Marine Science Center
Learn about the marine life that thrives in the waters around Port Townsend. The museum offers touch tanks, educational wall displays, interpretive programs and beach walks. For more information, call (360) 385-5582. 16 mi.
