This year’s election featured many well-qualified candidates and I am confident that the re-election of John and Jack demonstrates not only their dedication to club issues and the best interest of WorldMark owners, but also owners’ confidence in them as directors of the club.
Proxies cast by individual owners or by the WorldMark Board of Directors did not alter the results of the winners of the popular owner vote. WorldMark owners elected John Henley and Jack McConnell and the vote including proxies reinforced this owner vote of confidence.
The board of directors considered many factors in casting the proxies entrusted to them. The voting of these proxies was based on the following criteria:
- Does the owner demonstrate values or a campaign platform that is for the benefit of all owners,
- Does the owner demonstrate an understanding of critical business model relationships,
- Does the owner demonstrate an ability to effectively function within a board structure and with members of the WorldMark Board,
- Does the owner understand the value of the relationship between the developer and WorldMark, The Club.
I’d like to congratulate John Henley and Jack McConnell on their re-election to the WorldMark Board of Directors and extend my appreciation for their continued dedication and service to the owners of the club. I would also like to thank all the candidates for their participation.
