The booking window for WorldMark resort stays of less than seven nights has increased from 60 days to 90 days.

“The drive to adjust the booking window has always been the average WorldMark stay, which is three days,” says Gene Hensley, president of the WorldMark board. “Up to 80 percent of all reservations are booked at 60 days or less in advance. That's a huge number.” Hensley continues, “We’re thrilled to be able to give owners a wider booking window, and we'll keep a close eye on how the new guideline is utilized.”

Knowing that owners were strongly in favor of the expanded booking window, the WorldMark Board of Directors called upon the club’s independent counsel, as well as a separate independent firm, to clarify the requirements for making a guideline change. Both determined that it is within the authority of the board to amend the 60-day window to 90 days.
