WorldMark Charitable Giving Program

In response to owners who have asked how they can gift WorldMark credits to support various non-profit causes, we recently announced the formation of The WorldMark Charitable Giving Program.

Non-profit organizations are feeling the sting of diminishing funds due to cut backs in both state and federal funding. The not-for-profit first responders are in as much need as the individuals they help transition through these difficult times.

The WorldMark Charitable Giving Program was established to provide WorldMark owners the opportunity to gift their credits to support non-profit organizations in need. Gifted owner credits are given to these non-profit organizations to support their fundraising efforts. Just as you value your WorldMark ownership, WorldMark is a very popular auction item for non-profit fundraising.

Make-A-Wish Foundation®
It all began in 1980 with the simple dream of Chris, a boy from Phoenix, who wished to be a police officer for a day. Chris' friends and family made his wish possible, and after seeing the impact the wish had on him, his family and even the community, his friends formed the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Today, they have nearly 70 chapters in the United States and its territories, and 28 international affiliates. To date, the Foundation has granted more than 171,000 wishes worldwide and is the largest wish-granting organization in the world.

Camp Korey – A Proposed Paul Newman Hole In The Wall Camp

Camp Korey (www.campkorey.org) is a medically supervised camp staffed with physicians and nurses, and trained camp counselors for children suffering from serious life threatening illnesses. The camp provides a week-long experience of camp programs and activities for children ages 7-16 at no cost to them. Here, children are defined not by their medical diagnosis, but by their spirit, their creativity and their own potential.

Camp Korey is dependent on generous contributions to provide the joy and fun of camp for kids who spend most of their time struggling to be healthy. Specifically designed for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses, Camp Korey allows campers to safely enjoy the activities of “traditional” camp. Paul Newman generously provided seed money in 2005 to get the camp started and Camp Korey will soon be a full fledged member of Paul Newman Hole In The Wall Camps.
